Update on United Healthcare and

Aetna Network Status

1/5/2022: As of 1/1/2022, Dr. May is currently out of network for both United Healthcare and Aetna insurances, including the Medicare replacement plans associated with both companies. We were unaware of this disruption prior to the new year. Dr. May ended her affiliation with Avocate Physician Partners, and without notice her contracts with United and Aetna were cancelled as well. We are unable to accept new patients who have either of these insurances at this time. All other insurances listed on our website are still active and all new and existing patients may continue to book appointments without interruption. If you are an existing patient with United or Aetna and need to see Dr. May, please call the office to discuss your options. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We have taken the necessary steps to reinstate our network status with both United Healthcare and Aetna and are doing everything we can to get this completed as soon as possible.
